Defender Collection
Imation's Defender Collection of USB flash drives, external hard drives and EncryptDisc optical
media specifically target the needs of organizations that require the highest in data security,
including government and Healthcare Information Technology applications. These highly
secure data storage devices meet FIPS 140-2 level 1 or 3 validation and feature 256-bit AES
hardware or software encryption, multi-factor authentication options, digital identity, physical
security and up to a five-year limited warranty. The Defense Department has restored the use
of USB flash drives and the Imation Defender Collection FIPS 140-2 Level 3 validated devices
meet the new requirements set forth by the DoD.
